Every year, a group of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pioneers is identified to show recognition for individuals whose work champions sustainability and are leading the way to be a force for good.
AID:Tech’s CEO & Co-founder, Joseph Thompson, has been named as one of only ten UN’s SDG pioneer this year. Recognised for his work in leading AID:Tech as a force for good through applying Blockchain technology in the development and private sector, Joseph received formal recognition during the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit on 21st September.

The summit on the 21st convenes to bring together an international community of leaders from business, civil society, academia, Government and the United Nations to accelerate business action and partnerships to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Paris Climate Agreement.
